David Walliams parted ways with publishing house.
Acclaimed children's author and entertainer David Walliams has parted ways with his UK book publisher, the company has said.
An official for the firm said: "After careful consideration, and under the leadership of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing any new titles by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the move was taken subsequent to an inquiry regarding reports of inappropriate behaviour involving women.
The company did not confirm the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "We refrain from speaking about private personnel issues."
