The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
