Suspected Harasser Inquired: 'However What If I Might Be Madeleine?'
A female charged with stalking Kate McCann reportedly recorded her a phone message which questioned: "what if I am Madeleine?"
Julia Wandelt, 24, who a jury heard has repeatedly asserted she was the missing Madeleine McCann, and Karen Spragg are on trial indicted with pursuing Kate and Gerry McCann from June 2022 and February this year.
On Monday, the tribunal learned call records and data retrieved from phones recorded Ms Wandelt consistently requesting Madeleine's mother for a DNA test over that period.

'I Am Not Seeking Money'
One phone message, shared in court, recorded Ms Wandelt saying: "I understand I'm fat and unattractive like Madeleine used to be, but I know what I believe."
While a separate message of Ms Wandelt's one-way conversations with Mrs McCann's voicemail stated: "Imagine there is a slight possibility that I'm her? What happens next? Isn't that crucial for you?"
"I am not seeking money, I have a existence here in Poland, I just want to know," the message continued.
The tribunal was told that by means of electronic messages, SMS messages and communications, Ms Wandelt demanded a genetic test, transmitted early photographs to her phone in a attempt to display a likeness to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and claimed to have "recollections" from a early life with the McCanns.
Robert Jones, a data specialist with law enforcement who compiled the data, informed the court there "didn't appear to be any responses" from Mrs McCann.
Ms Wandelt additionally communicated with close associates of the McCanns, according to the communication logs.
On October 9th, 2024, Gerry McCann answered a phone call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "incorrect contact information."
On that occasion Ms Wandelt deposited a voicemail on Mrs McCann's recording declaring "I will continue and I intend to demonstrate my position."
The court heard Mrs Spragg developed a connection via internet with Ms Wandelt prior to assisting her on a trip to the McCanns' residence in the county in last December.
Communication data demonstrated Mrs Spragg had reached out using WhatsApp to Mrs McCann to say the press had characterized Ms Wandelt as "a crazy person" but that she deserved to be considered genuine in the months preceding the appearance to the village, Leicestershire, in that winter.
The court heard correspondence between the two defendants, in November 2024, considering endeavoring to obtain Mrs McCann's biological evidence from her bins or from utensils at a dining venue.
"We must assert ourselves," the co-defendant advised Ms Wandelt.
